Team Biographies
Kathy Anderson Ms. Anderson’s involvement in the commercial and residential real estate industry brings unique expertise in the property management sector. She joined the Horizon team as property manager and oversees the property portfolio for the company. Kathy’s aptitude lies in property management, including tenant relations, project management, property maintenance, accounting and construction. Ms. Anderson’s background was gained through a diversified real estate company, as facilities manager, and a custom homebuilding company, as project manager and customer service account specialist. She is a graduate of University of Louisville with a major in marketing and two minors in psychology and international business.
Suzanne has been active in commercial real estate in Louisville and Jefferson County Kentucky since 1987. She specializes in commercial/retail leasing as well as land acquisition and sales for commercial and residential developers. Ms. Cheek is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance.
John Hollenbach A 20-year veteran in commercial real estate, Mr. Hollenbach is responsible for relationship development with clients, as well as site acquisition, financing, valuation and planning. He learned his trade by purchasing, renovating, leasing, and selling properties in his native town of Louisville, Kentucky. John graduated from the University of Kentucky, with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance. He is presently Co-Chair of the Commercial Council of Greater Louisville, is a member of local and national professional associations, and is active with several community organizations.
Greg Oakley An architect by training, Greg oversees all phases of planning, design and construction, including Master Planning/Zoning of new developments as well as individual project/building developments. Project programming, budgeting, scheduling, design and construction are his focus . After working 6 years in private consulting firms, Greg began his real estate development career as Project Architect/Manager at a national consulting firm, where he was involved with the design or construction of nearly 200 projects in the eastern U.S., with total investments of over $500 million. He then spent six years as Director of Development and Construction for a Regional Commercial Properties developer with projects stretching from Kentucky to Florida. Since 1997, Greg has been a partner in the development firm now known as Hollenbach-Oakley, developing over 1000 acres in two business parks in Louisville and over 60 new facilities in those parks. Greg received his architecture education from the University of Kentucky, and has been a member of the national, state, and local chapters of the American Institute of Architects since 1991. He also completed course work in civil engineering at the University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed School of Engineering. |
